Microsoft Defender XDR Essentials | Defender for Office 365
This course is designed as a one-day, hands-on workshop to teach administrators how to deploy Microsoft Defender for Office 365 (MDO) through Microsoft Defender XDR and to configure and use it to protect, detect, investigate and remediate threats coming through productivity and collaborative workloads such as Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft OneDrive and Microsoft Teams. For Microsoft Partners, this technology course does not have an associated exam. However, it does input into the MS-500 and SC-100 exams and provides real-world experience and insights. A better understanding of Microsoft Defender for Office 365, awareness of its functionalities and knowing how to deploy threat policies, attack simulation and automated investigation and response (AIR) supports the Security Customer Success category which focuses on deployment and usage.
