This training course provides an in-depth insight into the architecture of the firewall, including a presentation of the interaction between the modules. This includes the detection of problems and the possibilities of analysing network traffic. The evaluation of logs and the use of Linux tools on the shell for troubleshooting are part of the training. The execution and completion of a complex evaluation/deployment are just as much a focus as the design and implementation of a customised solution according to customer requirements.

Prerequisites & recommendations
In order to achieve the best possible training success, the knowledge described below are the recommended prerequisites for a successful attendance of the training:
· The training can only be booked by Sophos partners· Knowledge of current security industry standards
· Experience in configuration and administration of Windows/Linux/UNIX systems
· Security in the use and troubleshooting of TCP/IP basics
· Before the certification exam can be taken, a successfully completed exam for the Sophos Certified Engineer - Firewall in the latest version or for the Delta training courses on the latest version is mandatory. Ideally, you should have completed the Engineer certification as classroom training (https://www.infinigate.de/akademie/sophos/xg-basics).
· To participate in the training you need your own notebook
